3. Within the Nordic countries and in Madagascar, we will conduct hierarchical sampling in with 15 and 28 sampling sites in each. Here, sampling across the Nordic countries (top left) will be based on volunteer collaborators, whereas sampling across Madagascar and sampling across the finer scales within both regions will be conducted by LIFEPLAN staff and Madagascar Biodiversity Center.
