About us

The COVID-19 pandemic has raised new questions regarding leadership and education. This project was initiated in a voluntary study group in the midst of the pandemic and a natural point of departure for our research is the increasingly digitalized academic working environment.

The aim of the project is to investigate differences in leadership within higher education institutions. Bringing together professionals from various academic disciplines, the project increases cooperation between the social and natural sciences, medicine and the technical sciences, as well as partners outside the university. With a strong background in university pedagogy, we have multidisciplinary expertise ranging from evaluation and leadership, pedagogics, to policy analysis and public management.

The aim of the project is to:

  • Establish a new multidisciplinary network within and beyond SHH
  • Produce multidisciplinary research on pedagogical and academic leadership
  • Form a common understanding of quality assurance and the development of teaching.
  • Support pedagogical solutions in higher education teaching emphasizing the practical importance of strategic policy documents for staff and students.
  • Understand the changes in pedagogical leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic
