Our first workshop, Questions Arising from the Aristotelian Zoology, will take place at the Finnish Institute at Athens, March 23–24, 2026. Speakers, among others, are: Sophia M. Connell (Birkbeck, University of London): The development of the sense organs in Aristotle's Embryology; Pantelis Golitsis (Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki): Soul, heat and teleology in Aristotle's zoology; Stavros Kouloumentas (University of Patras) and Stasinos Stavrianeas (Hellenic Open University): Aristotle and Anaxagoras on Why human beings have hands; Spyros Rangos (University of Patras): Natural teleology and hypothetical necessity.
A more specific programme will appear in December.
