Örebro University is represented by Robert Jan Brummer's team.
Örebro University, established 1999, is a young and comprehensive university with three Faculties and eight Schools covering humanities, social sciences, economics, technical sciences, life sciences, and medical and health sciences. It has about 15000 students at bachelor and master level, nearly 500 PhD students and about 850 teachers and researchers. Örebro University has three overarching research profiles of which Food and Health, led by Pro-Vice-Chancellor prof Robert Brummer is one. Its vision is “Sustainable-produced food with health benefit is the consumers’s preferred choice”. Within Food and Health “Responsive Nutrition” is a main interdisciplinary theme aiming to establish a precision nutrition approach through the entire life course. Collaborating in the FIBRE-MATCH project fits very well in this perspective. The participating researchers belong to the Nutrition-Gut-Brain Interactions Research Centre which is a strong building block of the Food and Health profile. More information can be found here.
