The biggest MetaStem event of the year, the MetaStem Summit 2019, was held at Lammi Biological Station on April 11th-12th. This time it was a one and a half day meeting of science talks, poster teasers, posters and networking.
On the second afternoon we arranged a career coaching session where the PI's shared their thoughts to students and PostDocs on how to sucessfully achieve the next step in academia. We also had time to compete in bird watching and lab knowledge skills.
It was great to see such good participation from all four labs, both in numbers of attendees and networking activity. Looking forward the new collaborations kicking off between MetaStem members.
