The project focuses on desirable liability rules in terms of their substance (’micro level’) and on appropriate system levels and methods for developing regulation (’macro level’), and presents recommendations for legal and regulatory solutions. Further, we develop analytical tools for choosing functioning regulatory approaches in the EU. The aim of this project is to contribute to resolving topical AI-related liability issues in legal science and in practice. Moreover, our research facilitates optimal reactions to technological development in the area of EU private law.
