Library clones are available only to University of Helsinki and Biocenter Finland customers. The clones themselves are free of charge, but a processing fee is applied depending on the delivery format. If courier shipping is required, freight costs will be added to the invoice.

DNA MIDI preparations are available only for customers proceeding to .

Examples (UH prices):
Cloning an ORFeome clone into an expression vector costs 101 €, consisting of a 36 € clone miniprep and 65 € for LR cloning; a second clone costs 49 € (19 € + 30 €). 

Cloning cDNA from a non‑Gateway vector into a Gateway expression vector costs 232 €, including PCR (87 €), BP cloning to an entry vector (80 €), and LR cloning to an expression vector (65 €); a second clone costs 120 € (47 € + 25 € + 30 €). 

Mutagenesis of a library clone costs 251 €, which includes a 36 € miniprep, 150 € mutagenesis, and 65 € LR cloning.

The Gibson cloning price applies to cDNA cloning into standard AAV vectors used by HelVi AAV.

Sanger sequencing is included in the price of custom shRNA and gRNA cloning, mutagenesis, and Gibson cloning. We recommend sequencing for library clones before experimental use. Sanger sequencing verifies only the region around the cloning sites, whereas whole‑plasmid sequencing covers the entire vector. Because viral vectors have a higher tendency for recombination, we recommend whole‑plasmid sequencing for all viral vector constructs.
