The antibacterial activity assay is performed in 96-well plate format. In screening assay 16 samples per plate can be tested in triplicate at the single concentration. In dose response assay 2 samples at 8 concentrations.
Primarily, user is expected to provide the bacterial strain for the assays. Availability of strains can also be inquired from the research group of prof. Päivi Tammela by email (paivi.tammela@helsinki.fi) or when submitting project request in iLab.
