At the Department of Physics we can offer as auxiliary services to the Center for X-ray Spectroscopy users:
- Laue camera for single-crystal quality check and orienting
- (highly useful for checking electrochemical cells for example)
- 4-circle X-ray diffractrometer
- Wide-angle x-ray scattering equipment with 2D area detector
Other services available at the Campus:
hosts wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, X-ray diffraction, electron microprobe, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy
hosts x-ray photoemission spectroscopy, atomic mass spectrometry, positron annihilation spectroscopy and ion beam analysis methods (RBS, ERDA, NRA, PIXE, ...)
hosts electron microscopes, for example a Hitachi S-4800 field emission scanning electron microscope with an Oxford INCA 350 EDS (energy-dispersive x-ray spectrometer for elemental analysis).
