Surveys on making policy recommendations

All collected data is used for developing processes and training related to making policy recommendations within the University of Helsinki and in the Sofi project.

In addition to research and teaching, the task of Finnish universities, institutions of higher education and scientific and research communities is community relations. Society constantly requires new expert knowledge in order to solve current problems.

The University of Helsinki Institute of Urban and Regional Studies, Urban Academy and Science Advice Initiative of Finland Sofi will organise a webinar “How to impact wisely” on making research-based policy recommendations on Monday 23 November 9:00–10:30 a.m. (Unfortunately, the webinar will be held in Finnish)

All researchers’ thoughts and experiences on making policy recommendations are extremely valuable for discussion and development.

That is why we are inviting all researchers at the University of Helsinki to share their experiences by responding to the attached survey. By responding to the survey, researchers can also effect the topics covered in the webinar that will be held on 23th of November.
