Faculty of Social Sciences book fair on November

In November it is time to dive into the scientific literature as the book fair of the Faculty of Social Sciences is held online. A website of the fair will feature books published by the Faculty’s scholars in recent years. In addition, the authors and readers can come together to discuss the books in theme-specific Zoom sessions.

Reading and writing academic texts is an essential part of the everyday lives of the researchers and students of the Faculty of Social Sciences. In addition, our Faculty’s researchers publish many high-quality scientific books every year on a wide range of subjects. Nevertheless, the book fair of the Faculty of Social Sciences are held first time this year – in the same year as the Faculty celebrates its 75th anniversary!

The online book fair of the Faculty of Social Sciences will provide a wide-ranging overview of the Faculty’s research. The book fair is aimed at students, teachers, researchers and enthusiasts of social studies. Click here to visit the book fair website.

BOOK FAIR ON ZOOM ON 26 NOVEMBER FROM 14.00 TO 18.00

On the day of the book fair, 26 November from 14.00 to 18.00, authors and readers can come together for discussions in theme-specific Zoom sessions. The programme will include short introductions to the works, after which the audience can ask questions. A detailed timetable will be published closer to the event.
