The Advisory Board is chaired by the dean, while the vice-dean serves as the vice chairperson.
The Advisory Board’s objective is to help the Faculty develop its operations in accordance with the duties assigned to the Faculty. The Board follows the critical friendship approach, keeping the Faculty up-to-date on the expectations of interest groups and cooperation partners and serving as a feedback channel.
The Advisory Board usually convenes once or twice an academic year to discuss questions related to the Faculty’s teaching, research and community relations. Through the Board, the Faculty can communicate with society, the legal profession, alumni and various cooperation partners within the University, as well as with students.
The Advisory Board can provide the Faculty of Law with recommendations about strategic policies and propose different measures. It does not make decisions that bind the Faculty.
