Cooperation between educational institutions

Teacher training includes teaching practice. It's is organized at the Viikki Normal School and the Helsinki Normal Lyceum, as well as in field day care centers, schools and other educational institutions.

Network of field day care centers and schools

The field school network includes about a hundred day care centres, schools and educational institutions in the Helsinki metropolitan area.

Teaching practice in the field schools and day care centres are an important part of quality teacher education. Teachers who supervise teaching practice in field schools have received training in supervision.
