DIVSOL Kick-off Event provided a platform for interdisciplinary networking

Poster session brought together research groups and communities whose work explores diversity-related questions.

, or DIVSOL, profiling action held its kick-off event on Wednesday 10th September. Speakers represented a range of faculties and disciplines, offering multiple perspectives on the that are central for DIVSOL. The talks were followed both by the on-site audience and online viewers via Unitube.

In addition to the talks, the University of Helsinki Banquet Rooms buzzed with lively discussions as research groups and communities presented their work in two poster sessions. Since posters could not be streamed, we are presenting them here. This selection offers an inspiring glimpse into the diversity-related research being conducted at the University of Helsinki, and it represents several faculties involved in the profiling action. However, as this was still a limited sample, DIVSOL plans to provide a networking platform for a broader range of research groups and communities in the future.

The following posters, listed in alphabetical order, were presented at the event (images below): ; ; ; ; ; ; (CEREN); (CEREN); ; ; Multilingualism and Interaction Research Community; ; REBOUND – Reconceptualizing Boundaries Together Towards Resilient and Just Arctic Future(s); ;

DIVSOL thanks everyone who attended the event either by giving talks, presenting posters or participating in the discussions!
