The admission results (application round from 1 Dec 2022 to 4 Jan 2023) have been sent to the applicants to the e-mail address given on their application form. The results can also be found in the My Studyinfo -service.
TRANSMED programme invites all our prospective new students for studies starting in autumn 2022 to follow this page!
Soon after the publication of the admission results, our student tutors will contact all who have been admitted, admitted conditionally, or placed on a wait list. You will also be invited to some on-line sessions to meet others and get more information of the programme and student life while you are considering your decision concerning the offered study place.
You do not be anxious about the start of the studies or course enrolments in the fall. All new students will get guidance in the planning of the curriculum, selection of courses and enrolment system. You will also receive individual coaching for your personal study plan from the programme director. All new students have secured seats in any compulsory courses during the first term, so you can start your studies efficiently.
The autumn studies start with orientation to the university and to the campus, the dates and times of these events will be informed soon.

TRANSMED student tutors will contact you soon after you have been informed of admission result to be available for your questions. Tutors will also help you in the accommodation to the faculty, the TRANSMED programme and the survival in Helsinki in general
TRANSMED orientation for all new students starts with a Welcome event on Tue 29 Aug at 9.15 in Biomedicum Helsinki, seminar room 3, Haartmaninkatu 8, Helsinki (Meilahti Campus). This event will be followed by other student support, tutoring and orientation sessions during the same week. Participation in the TRANSMED orientation is compulsory and is part of your curriculum. The enrollment to first autumn courses can also be completed during the orientation sessions, as the first study period and courses start on 4 September, 2023.

Impactus ry is a student organisation for translational medicine students in Meilahti campus. You can follow Impactus ry on social media:
International TRANSMED students can apply to the UNITalent Programme. It is designed to support international students in building professional networks in Finland and to gain insight into field specific working life. Students take part by attending monthly group meetings with hosting organisation for a period of three months. During the programme, the University Career Services also provides training in career management skills.
