Welcome to Huittinen!

Huittinen is a regional town where everyday life runs smoothly. All the services of this lively rural town are within a 5-minute bike ride, whether you are looking for grocery stores, specialty shops, sports facilities, or restaurants. 

The town, with a population of just under 10,000, is located at a busy crossroads and is within an hour's drive of Turku, Rauma, Pori, and Tampere, for example. The capital, Helsinki, is only a couple of hours away. 

Huittinen offers a natural living environment with a wide range of leisure and recreational opportunities and beautiful nature destinations all year round. Vajaan 10 000 asukkaan kaupunki sijaitsee vilkkaiden teiden risteyksessä ja tunnin ajomatkan päässä on esimerkiksi Turku, Rauma, Pori ja Tampere. Pääkaupunki Helsinkiin on vain parin tunnin matka.

If sport is what gets you out of bed, we have plenty to offer there too. The Pori Sports Centre is located just outside the city centre, about a kilometre from the Market Square. It’s well equipped for a wide range of sports, from football to gymnastics, and also hosts public events. The surrounding area features jogging trails, fitness stairs, and outdoor gyms. Altogether, the city maintains over 200 sports facilities, from sports halls to swimming pools.
