14.11.2023: Evening event arranged at the Finnish Institute in Stockholm

The consequences of the war – how has Russia changed following the invasion of Ukraine and what are the consequences for our region?

The club together with the Finnish Institute organized a conversation between Laura Solanko, UH alum and senior advisor at the Bank of Finland, with a special focus on Russia, Ann-Mari Sätre, Professor in Eurasia at IRES (Institute for Russia and Eurasia Studies) at Uppsala University and Jesper Roine, Associate Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics and Deputy Head of SITE (Institute for Eastern Economic Studies). Through the discussion it was possible to learn more about the actual impact of the war on our region and to gain an insight into the new Russia. The conversation was moderated by Stefan Ingvarsson, Centre for Eastern Europe, Studies at the Foreign Policy Institute.
