The World Cultural Council and the University of Helsinki are delighted to announce that the 38th WCC Award Ceremony will take place in the Great Hall, University of Helsinki on Friday 3rd November 2023 at 5 pm.
At the event, the 2023 “Albert Einstein” World Award of Science and the “José Vasconcelos” World Award of Education will be conferred on eminent pioneers in their respective fields in recognition of their tireless efforts to advance human culture and well-being. During the Award Ceremony, the World Cultural Council will grant special acknowledgements to several distinguished Finnish young scholars who have achieved outstanding performance in science and education. As part of the programme, laureate lectures will take place on Thursday 2nd November.
