The conference will be held at the University of Helsinki City Centre Campus.
The Opening Event will be held at the University Main Building, Fabianinkatu 33.
Most of the other events are held at Metsätalo, Unionkatu 40/Fabianinkatu 39.
Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation, as well as cover their own costs related to participation. More information about public transportation and hotels situated nearby the city centre campus of the University of Helsinki are available on the Guide for visitors.

The Aleksanteri Conference is one of the largest annual conferences of Russian and Eastern European Studies in the world. It is arranged in Helsinki in late October and stretches over three days. Over 200 papers are presented during the 50 panel sessions and more than 400 participants attend the conference every year. The theme of the conference varies from year to year, and some of the most interesting and distinguished scholars on the current topic are invited as keynote speakers.
