Welcome to the ninth conference of Nordic Network for Research in L1 Education (NNFF9) at University of Helsinki, October 25–26, 2023!
The theme of the conference is Meetings and Diversity – L1 Education in the Nordic Countries. The conference theme aligns with the new name of the network and intends to enable a broad discussion about meetings and diversity from various perspectives on L1 education. We welcome proposals that address the conference theme, but proposals outside the theme with relevance for the research area are also welcome.
The conference is held at the University of Helsinki’s City Centre Campus, in the heart of Helsinki.
A pre-conference for doctoral researchers will be arranged on October 24, 2023.
The languages of the conference are Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish, but presentations in English are also welcome, following the language policy of the network.
