We will accept abstracts for review by a panel of experts. Accepted abstracts will be invited for presentation in the conference poster session.

Submission Guidelines
- The criteria for the peer-review include fit, originality, methodological rigor, and clarity.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Abstracts must report new or recent substantive scientific results relevant to one or more of the themes.
- At least some findings unpublished at the time of abstract submission should be included. Abstracts may include results that have previously appeared as a preprint (e.g., on bioRxiv). If you also present peer-reviewed and published results as part of the main findings (rather than only for context), they should have been published no more than 18 months before the April 29, 2026 abstract submission deadline (i.e., November 1, 2024). Any prior dissemination or publication should be cited in the abstract.
- The presenting author of the abstract must complete registration by August 11, 2026 to ensure inclusion in the online MCC26 Programme, and the right to submit to the associated special issue ().
- Each registrant can submit only one research abstract for evaluation.
- The same abstract cannot be submitted by different delegates.
- The format of abstract must include Title, Authors + affiliations, Body of Abstract, Keywords (3–5) and References (if any).
- Length of the abstract body text (incl. keywords and references) must be maximum 500 words
- The abstract body text can be either unstructured or structured (e.g Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusion).
Special Issue in Frontiers in Psychology
Conference presenters are invited to contribute to a special issue of Frontiers in Psychology titled “Integrative Evidence for Motivation and Cognitive Control.”
The deadline for manuscript summary submissions is 30 June 2026, and the full manuscript submission deadline is 31 December 2026. Additional details are available in the call for papers link below.
