Research methodological approaches bridging special educational needs 

Special educational needs (SEN) is a broad and multifaceted field, encompassing diverse populations, educational contexts, and research traditions. EARLI SIG 15 2026 Conference in Helsinki, invites reflection on how methodological thinking—while not central to every presentation—can serve as a bridge across the variety of disciplines and topics. Through keynotes and workshops, we aim to foster inclusive dialogue that connects researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders of the varied ways we study and support individuals with SEN across the lifespan.
