Talks are held in the University of Helsinki City Centre Campus in Metsätalo building, B317 (hall 6).

This day we will have an excursion to the Nuuksio (Noux) National Park to the Polku Hotel Nuuksio where there are some talks, opportunity to sauna and swim by the lake, have a tour and short walks in the forest (good to bring maybe sneakers or boots for this if you want to join, and swimwear if you want to go to swim in the lake by the hotel), sitting by the campfire, and lunch and dinners are provided. 

The trip will be covered to the registered participants and speakers. If you have any dietary constraints, do email quantumchaos@helsinki.fi. 

Schedule of the excursion day: 

9:00
Bus leaves from Töölö towers hotel (where all speakers stay) to Polku Hotel Nuuksio (around 40 mins by bus).

9:40-9:50
Arrival to Polku Hotel Nuuksio.

10:00-12:30
Talks and coffee in a glass-walled lecture hall.

12:30-13:30
Lunch provided by the hotel.

13:30-15:00
A walk in the forest giving an opportunity to discuss and network with other participants, also optionally forest listening practice led by a coach and a guide.

15:00-19:00
Arrival back to the Polku Hotel Nuuksio from the forest walk, where participants can go to the saunas, and swim in the lake by the hotel. A traditional soot pot coffee and campfire buns by the campfire will be provided. It is also possible to use Stand Up Paddling boards or a rowing boat on the the lake. Until 19:00 there is time to hang out in the beach area, hotel's terraces, bar or the fireplace room inside for networking and discussions.

19:00-21:30 
Buffet dinner, with vegan option included, with starter soup and chocolate cake & oat ice cream.

21:30 
The bus leaves back to the Töölö towers, arriving around 22:15.
