Raul Hakli is a university researcher in practical philosophy at the University of Helsinki, Finland. He started his studies in computer science and artificial intelligence and after receiving his MSc degree, he changed to theoretical philosophy in which he received his PhD in 2010. His research interests include social ontology, collective intentionality and the philosophy of social robotics. Over the course of his career, he has helped businesses remediate ongoing attacks, created detections to thwart them, and built systems and automation to aid with analysis. His current focus is on threat research and analysis, uncovering financially-motivated campaigns to nation-state attacks. He frequently presents his work at conferences and events.
