The conference will be held at the University of Helsinki City Centre Campus. The campus is located right in the very heart of Helsinki.

The main conference venue is the Porthania, one of the centre campus' core buildings. The accessible entrance is located at Yliopistonkatu 3.

 

Arrival to Helsinki

The Helsinki Airport is located 20 km from Helsinki City Centre. 

How to get from the airport to the City Centre:

  • By train: The train station of Helsinki Airport is located under the terminal. The departures and arrivals hall has a direct elevator and escalator connection to the train station.

    Local commuter trains I and P operate between Helsinki Airport and the Central Railway Station. A train ride takes about 30 minutes.

    Train tickets can be purchased from HSL mobile app, or from the ticket machine at the train station. Tickets are not sold on the train, so please buy a ticket beforehand.

  • By  bus: The bus station is located outside of the Arrivals hall. 

    Bus route 600 operates between Helsinki Airport and the City Centre. The travel time is about 40 minutes. 

    Tickets can be purchased online on HSL's mobile app, or at the bus station's ticket machine. Timetables, tickets and fares can be found on HSL website.

     

  • By taxi: The taxi station can be found outside of the Arrivals hall. There are four taxi lanes. The three companies (FixuTaxi, Taksi Helsinki and Menevä-taksi) that have an agreement with the airport company operate from lanes 1 to 3. The fares for these companies are indicated on the taxi stand. Other taxi companies operate from lane 4.

    Pre-booked taxis are located at the back of the taxi stand.
