Research

The Centre for Consumer Society Research (CCSR) studies consumer behaviour, consumer participation, structures of the consumer society, and the guiding forces that shape consumption in a multidisciplinary manner.

Research at the Centre for Consumer Society Research concentrates on understanding changes in consumer society, the behaviour and participation of consumer citizens, and the structures and politics that influence these. Our research deals with both current phenomena and long-term changes.

Research themes at the centre include:

  • Changes to the consumer market economy
  • Consumer technologies and digitalisation
  • Health and wellbeing in consumer society
  • Innovation activities, service production and politics of co-creation
