Wood is a versatile material that offers us both wellbeing and a way to accelerate green transition when used in sustainable and just way for necessity goods, to meet the material needs of societies.
Sustainable use of wood requires that all the components of harvested biomass are used as efficiently as possible. Wood processing by-products are valuable, still underutilized source for bioinnovation of new goods that can be used in e.g., housing and construction, furniture, food and feed, or packaging. We aim to unleash the potential of underused wood and wood processing by -products for further use, in collaboration with several partners.
