Ravi Ojha from the Balistreri Lab receives prestigious University of Helsinki salaried position for his doctoral research

November 2020. Every year the doctoral programmes at the University of Helsinki offers salaried positions to the deserving students in the respective field. The selection process is very competitive, and the candidates must go through two rounds of selection process. The selected candidates are funded for a maximum of four years.

Ravi Ojha from Giuseppe Balistreri’s lab receives the University of Helsinki salaried position from the Doctoral Programme in Microbiology and Biotechnology (MBDP). He has received the salaried position for three years starting from beginning of 2021 until the end of 2023. He received the support for his research titled “Host cell regulators of SARS-CoV-2 and RSV infections and role of neuropilins in virus entry”.
