Recently, the Finnish National Agency for Education organised a public event to launch the new HEI-ICI projects followed later by a working session for project coordinator and staff. The Higher Education Institutions Institutional Cooperation Instrument (HEI ICI) supports cooperation projects between higher education institutions in Finland and the developing world that are designed to enhance higher education provision in these countries. Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs provides funding for the programme through its development cooperation funds
VITRI’s project PARFORM aims to support partner HEIs in terms of international collaboration, curriculum revision, teaching material, introduction of e-learning teaching methods with the aim to provide good forestry professionals and academics for the forest sector in the Mekong region.
