This January VITRI is in Laos with the field course TROP220: Tropical Forests and Agroforests. The course includes 16 students from the University of Helsinki, 5 students from Laos, 3 from Myanmar and one from Thailand.
The course is organised in collaboration with Kasetsart University (Thailand), National University of Laos and Savannakhet University (Laos). The first week include an opening session at Kasetsart University, a public seminar at National University of Laos and the beginning of field course around the Pialat Forest Station, North-west of the Capital Vientiane.
