An in-person seminar will take place on 30.10.25 at the Center for Sustainable Development (CDS) at the University of Brasília (UnB). The talk is part of the "Conversation circle" series. The talk is titled, "Borders in dispute: How to move forward in restoring and protecting the Cerrado and Amazonia trente in disputes over land and socio-environmental conflicts." The talk will also feature discussants Francis Rocha and Guadalupe Satiro. Markus will discuss his extensive fieldwork in the Amazon and his new open access book from Cambridge University Press,
