Markus Kröger interview by the CEIS20 Podcast

Markus was interviewed by the CEIS20 Podcast during a research visit to the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies (CEIS20) at the University of Coimbra in Portugual.

Markus Kröger, one of the PIs of the TreesForDev project, joined João Luís Fernandes, an integrated researcher at the Centre, for a short interview on the CEIS20 Podcast.

Markus was visiting CEIS20 within the scope of the Axes of Interdisciplinary Knowledge. In addition to the work Markus has done in TreesForDev, he is one of the founding members of The . Markus has written extensively on global natural resource politics, conflicts, and social resistance movements and their economic outcomes, especially in relation to mining, forestry and agriculture. He is also an expert in political economy, development, and globalization in Latin America, India, and the Arctic. Markus gives us insight into how his research is interdisciplinary. He focuses on problems and uses the literature that is appropriate to theorize the problem.
