CONFERENCE PRESENTATION: NESS2024

The TreesForDev project is excited to be participating in the 16th NESS (Nordic Environmental Social Science Conference), titled, "Co-producing knowledge for sustainability" which is happening June 4-6, 2024, in Turku, Finland.

Our paper is called "What is relevant to local populations? A framework to assess socio-political conditions of ecological restoration schemes”. This paper is under development by the TreesForDev project team, including Ossi Ollinaho, Maria Ehrnström-Fuentes, Markus Kröger, Sophia Hagolani-Albov, and Marketta Vuola. 

The presentation will be headed by Ossi Ollinaho and will be presented in Workshop 13: Unravelling the socio-political conditions for more inclusive Nature-Based Solutions, which is convened by Mia Pihlajamäki, Katriina Soini, and Juha Hiedanpää, all from the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke).
