Our lab is located in the Translational Cancer Medicine Program at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Helsinki (UH). Faculty of Medicine at UH is part of the Academic Medical Center that also hosts the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM) and Helsinki University Central Hospital (HUCH) in the same campus.
Saharinen lab is affiliated with the Wihuri Research Institute. Wihuri research institute is a non-profit biomedical research institute, with a research program focused on the vascular system in various diseases – such as cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases, and cancer.
