RADIA to organise trainings on evaluation and planning of P/CVE work in February

The practice-oriented training focuses on project planning and evaluation in preventing and countering violent radicalisation and extremism (P/CVE).
RADIA trainings II and III: Program design and evidence-based evaluation

How to plan prevention of radicalisation according to best practices and develop it based on experience? How can evaluation be used to improve our work? What should practitioners and those planning interventions know about evaluation? How can AI be utilised in evaluations?

RADIA is organising a hands-on training that addresses program planning and evaluation, specifically in Prevention and Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE). The training is useful for everyone involved in planning and developing programs, and especially for those applying for external funding for their activities and/or participating in the implementation of the National Action Plan for prevention of radicalisation and extremism. The presentation materials are primarily in English, but Finnish can be used in discussions.

In winter 2026, we are offering the following trainings:

TRAINING II: PROGRAMME DESIGN WITH EVALUATION IN MIND

TRAINING III: INTRODUCTION TO EVIDENCE-BASED EVALUATION

Trainings II and III complement each other, and participation in both is recommended. However, it is also possible to attend only one of them.

Time and place:

  • Training II, Mon 02.02.2026, 9.00–16.00, Metsätalo, Unioninkatu 40, B311, Helsinki

  • Training III, Wed 11.02.2026, 9.00–16.00, Unioninkatu 37, Helsinki
