Regulatory Networks in Metabolism

Metabolic Network Analysis (2021-2024)

As part of the NEU-207 Regulatory Networks in Metabolism course, this session introduces students to the principles and practical applications of metabolic network analysis—a systems biology approach for modeling and understanding the complex interactions among metabolic components. The broader course explores the regulation of metabolic pathways through gene expression, cellular signaling, and hormonal control. Students gain insight into key metabolic regulators, their physiological roles, and the multi-level integration of metabolic control. The course also provides a foundation in metabolic flux analysis to support future studies in advanced modeling and systems biology.
