The Statistical Ecology Group focuses on the development and application of statistical methods in ecology and evolutionary biology. Our main projects relate to hierarchical modelling of species communities (HMSC) and probabilistic methods for taxonomic assignment of DNA barcoding sequences (PROTAX).
