Russian, East-European and Eurasian Intellectual History

About ARGIH

Our group members draw on research skills and theoretical insights from across humanities, social sciences as well as Russian, East European and Eurasian area studies. Our group is constantly seeking for new national and international networks, which enable us to organize conference panels, co-write articles, get comments on manuscripts and plan new research projects. We hope that you contact us, if you are seeking for collaboration.

Our primary on-going project is “Culture’s politics under authoritarian rule: Soviet civilizationism and the case of the humanities during the Stalin era” (CUPOLA, 2024-2028) funded by Kone Foundation.
