Horse resting behavior and sleep disturbances are studied in a research project together with University of Helsinki and Finnish Equine Information Centre. A questionnaire targeted to horse owners is launched to discover the prevalence and factors associated with sleep disturbances. The questionnaire is open 27.12.2022–28.2.2023 and can be answered in Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian and English.
The questionnaire should be filled by a person, that is involved with the daily activities of the horse on a regular basis. The horse should be over 4 years of age and have lived at least 3 months in the same individual box stall. It takes 10–15 minutes to fulfill the questionnaire.
