We are a multidisciplinary lab investigating how systemic and tissue-specific metabolism shapes aging, resilience, and disease. Our work is inspired by fundamental questions in human physiology and employs single-cell and spatial multi-omics, population genetics, metabolic profiling, and in vivo models. We aim to understand how metabolic microenvironments, iron and redox metabolism, and age-related changes in blood orchestrate cellular function, and to develop strategies to restore metabolic balance, tissue resilience, and healthy aging.
