With these approaches we have obtained proteomic data of viral replication complex [2], viral high molecular weight ribonucleoprotein complexes [3] and polysomes of infected plants [4]. Dr. Markku Varjosalo (Institute of Biotechnology, University of Helsinki) is our long-term collaborator in the proteomic approaches.
We have integrated our infection-associated proteomes to protein-protein interaction network (PPIN) models in collaboration with Prof. Santiago Elena (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, Spain). These proteome data and the PPIN models provide a source from which to make hypotheses for our future research.
