The Finnish Cultural Foundation has awarded a €32,000 working grant to Alba Arbiol Enguita to support the final stage of her doctoral research. Her work uses advanced stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) microscopy to reveal previously undetectable but critically important physicochemical changes in pharmaceutical formulations — changes that can strongly influence stability and drug release yet remain beyond the reach of conventional analytical methods. Overall, this work helps to enhance the understanding and prediction of medicine performance, supporting the development of safer and more effective drug products.
