I wish to thank the opponent for the excellent debate we had concerning the radium and its behavior in the spent nuclear fuel context. Thank you also Gareth Law (custos and supervisor), Marja Siitari-Kauppi (main supervisor), Mirkka Sarparanta (faculty's representative), Catherine Landesman & Xavier Gaona (thesis pre-examiners), and all the others for the unforgettable and pleasant experience I had regarding the thesis preparation and proceedings. Thank you all so much! -Otto
