Remarkable collaboration project between Polku Therapeutics and NeuroCure

NeuroCure has signed a remarkable collaboration agreement with Polku Therapeutics under the major grant from Alzheimer's Association and Rainwater Foundation.

Polku Therapeutics was awarded with highly competitive "The Tau Pipeline Enabling Program (T-PEP) IV" grant that is a joint effort from Alzheimer's Association and Rainwater Charitable Foundation to combat Tauopathies, such as Alzheimer's disease and frontotemporal dementia. The grant, based on the application made by NeuroCure leader, Prof. Timo Myöhänen, aims to develop PREP ligands further in the drug development in Tau-related neurodegenerative diseases. Part of the studies in the grant will be performed in the NeuroCure lab in University of Helsinki.

"I'm very happy that Polku got the grant. I think this is the first time that T-PEP grant is awarded to Finland. It's also great start for collaboration between Polku Therapeutics and University of Helsinki", comments Prof. Myöhänen.
