We concentrate on three major research subjects that are partly interlinked:

  1. The effects of dietary fibre and berries on gut metabolism, microbiota, metabolic health, and risk factors for colorectal cancer
  2. Dietary protein sources and their effects on health, nutrient status and biomarkers of chronic diseases
  3. Transition to more plant-based diets as a way to promote sustainable food systems
