J. Knuutinen visited Helmholtz-Zentrum-Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), Germany in March - April 2017 as a visiting resercher for her PhD studies in the microbiology of radionuclides. In HZDR she conducted ATR FT-IR studies with Np and U in the group of Dr. J. Raff at the Biogeochemistry - Institute of Resource Ecology. Mibira group works in close cooperation with HZDR microbiologists and radiochemists and have visited HZDR also earlier. In February 2016, M. Lusa and J. Knuutinen visited HZDR for collaboration research and visiting lectures (M. Lusa).
