Objective 2: Develop tools for policymakers related to the findings of longitudinal analysis which support them in the policy making process.
The central value of LEARN will be to successfully link excellent science with the educational policy community across Europe. This will be achieved by:
- Developing an online platform which will facilitate the engagement of the educational policy community across Europe for training, dialogue and dissemination of materials.
- Developing a bespoke course with a focus on evidence-based education that will be portable and adaptable for countries across Europe.
- Use materials from LEARN to create a series of toolkits that are accessible to policy actors in across Europe.
- Foster links with important existing organisations across Europe working in the field of education (e.g., OECD, Population Europe, Education Endowment Foundation), and directly cooperate with policy actors in each of the consortium countries in developing interventions intended at reducing educational inequalities.
- Through clustering activities, collaborate closely with other projects funded under this call and previously funded EC projects to synthesise findings and develop sustainable resources for long-term use.
