On the basis of presentations and in-depth discussions, central ideas and plans were finally developed. The biggest challenge was to structure the data in such a way that comparable results could ultimately be calculated. In this way, the development of social inequality in the various European education systems can be depicted and compared.
These successes in terms of content were made possible by the Dutch hosts, who have state-of-the-art and very well-equipped facilities at the University of Amsterdam. This also made it possible to connect external guests via the Internet without any problems. The exchange was rounded off by a joint visit to a rooftop bar, where the scientific exchange was continued in a convivial atmosphere. The LEARN team is looking forward to the next face-to-face exchange in Manchester in May 2025.
