William Nelson: The Extreme Right in Europe and America: Are they Different or the Same?
Abstract
In his talk, professor Nelson will argue that racism is the foundation of right-wing American thought but that protection of traditional Christian values had to be added to that foundation to give the American right political traction. He also poses the question whether something similar to this combination is present in Europe.
