The volume has been edited by Magdalena Kmak and Heta Björklund. The book is based on research in multidisciplinary collaboration on displacement and knowledge production in and on refugeehood and exile. The thematic scope covers historical (past century) and contemporary scholarship on and from within refugeehood. Methodologically the chapters range from ethnography to legal, historical approaches to socio-political philosophy.
The book is in open access on Routledge.
The book launch is also the launch of a year-long workshop series on "Opening up the University with Displaced Knowers and Learners and Decolonising the University" (detaily of workshop series to follow at the event) organized by EuroStorie.
